When we think of Adidas having a new shoe we think of tennis, track, football, baseball and basketball, but now we will be thinking beer. With Oktoberfest here Adidas has been inspired by the German festivities, which run from September 16 th until October 3 rd , with a new Oktoberfest sneaker.
Made in Germany, Adidas offers these limited-edition München shoes represent the true spirit of the Oktoberfest and the sporting legacy. Inspired by the lederhosen this limited-edition shoe offers a lederhosen brown-gold color scheme, with a full grain leather top, leather lining and embroidery making the shoe compared to that of the traditional German leather pants. The shoe also has a “prost” insignia, which is the German word for cheers, next to the golden stripes with intricate and unique embroidery on the golden heel.
I know that I have seen my share of Oktoberfest celebrations bring great food and amazing beer together with friends and loved ones together. I also know that getting a stain or two on your shirt is most likely going to happen and the spilling of beer is also unavoidable so the waterproof top keeps of these limited-edition München shoes will keep your feet dry in storms of rain and beer.
