TricorBraun – Taking their presence in Beverage Packaging Market to the Next Level

TricorBraun, a global packaging leader and North America’s largest distributor of primary packaging announced via press release that it has acquired beverage packaging leaders Zuckerman Honickman and Vessel Packaging, strengthening the company’s position in the beverage packaging market.

Vessel Packaging Company goes back to founding in 2013 as a mobile canning business to serve British Columbia’s craft brewers as West Coast Canning Inc.   West Coast Canning Inc and Sessions Craft Canning Ltd, already sister companies, announced the decision in 2016 to unify under one brand and vision, Vessel Packaging Company, bringing together their teams across Canada and continuing to lead the charge in the beverage canning industry offering customers throughout Canada and the U.S. everything from mobile canning and design services, to printed cans, can ends and carriers, shrink sleeving, and other labelling services. The company has five locations across Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Mississauga, Ottawa and Montreal) and serves all major beverage end markets, including beer, wine, cider, kombucha, coffee, sparkling water and ready-to-drink (RTD).

TricorBraun’s statement also advised that All Zuckerman Honickman and Vessel team members—including Zuckerman Honickman President, Michael Zuckerman, SVP of Strategy & Development Lorne Paskin and VP of Operations, Jon Zuckerman and Vessel Packaging CEO, Matt Leslie and COO, Mitchell Evanecz—will remain with TricorBraun. The companies will operate as separate, stand-alone businesses and the teams will continue to work out of their existing locations. Effective immediately, the companies will be known as Zuckerman Honickman, a TricorBraun company and Vessel Packaging, a TricorBraun company.
